What would be a good quote for a tattoo?

ok so basically my varsity cheerleading squad just won the state championship about a week ago.. and its a HUGE deal.. so all of the senior girls and their mothers and our coaches are going to get tattoos to celebrate because we have been through so much together.. while most of the girls are getting stars or what have you i want something that means alot.. two years ago i was in a car crash that nearly killed me and i had multiple surgeries and was out of cheerleading my entire junior year and was not expected to come back for my senior year.. but i did and we won and i really want to remeber that struggle... i know im getting MMX the roman numerals for the year 2010 but i want a saying underneath it... i was thinking "vale la pena" meaning worth it in spanish (literally meaning worth the pain) but i just was wondering what an outside perspective might be... any suggestions????
