What do you think we should do?

ok so my dad isnt necessarily hoarder he just seems like he wants to keep EVERYTHING!!! but me and my mom get really mad because he cant throw anything away and keep it clean,the house isnt messy its the garage which is attatched to the house,and my room is also in it,but its not like a normal garage,and he gets really mad when we tell him to get rid of stuff or give it away,and yesterday we lost a snake and their tanks are in the garage,and today when looking for the snake i saw a little mole,i tried getting it but lost it again...in the rubbish,do you think that i should tell my dad to just get rid of the stuff this weekend,why does he choose to keep everything
