Science can tell us some things, but Science cannot tell us if there is life after death,so why not admit that

There are two main reasons why humans invent afterlives. The first reason is that they are scared of death. They cannot accept that they are eventually going to die, and are afraid of what will happen. The second reason is more of a psychological one. We see cycles of life everywhere in nature; life returning to an area devastated by a fire or a volcanic eruption, new organisms living on after their predecessors have died, etc. Such things are commonplace in nature. Humans, however, fail to see that they are merely a small part of the cycle of life, not a cycle in themselves. People would rather believe that their existence is an entire, continuous cycle in and of itself. The reality is that our offspring are the ones continuing our cycle and species, not each person as an individual.
