Would you like to hear about my dysfunctional family?

So my mom and stepdad are in town, we never get to see them unless we go to them because they dont have much money. So my sister, mom, stepdad, my hubby, my neice and I all go to dinner tonight. My mom is all worried about ordering off the a la carte menu to save money, she coaches my 17 year old neice to do so, my step dad does, and my sister orders the most expensive item on the menu. My mom says to my sister that she will pay for hers. I said dont worry about it I got it. My sister just sits back and doesnt care who pays as long as it isnt her. So my neice finishes hers in like 5 minutes and you can tell she is still hungry. My sister sits there and relishes her shrimp and scallops slowly. I paid the whole tab. Nobody offered to leave a tip. What a crappy night. Am I weird for thinking my family should not be able to go out in public? My hubby says i should just enjoy the time with my mom.
